The vault provides liquidity against real world assets that are issued through Coinbase’s tokenization platform. The initial allocation is focused on the largest US stocks, but may expanded later to include other assets. Tokenized stocks are a relatively new collateral class within DeFi, with risks that differ from crypto-native assets. On-chain liquidity depth for these assets may be limited while the adoption is still in its early phases. Automated systems will reallocate liquidity across the available markets, aiming to balance utilization and rates within applicable risk parameters.
